...another busy week...

... and another week passes! My poor blog is the thing that gets neglected when there is so much to do and so little time...

My Pals and I have had another busy week. We've been working on custom orders and a few new Pals have been added to our Folksy shop.

We are still spending rather a lot of  time on facebook but we love meeting all the friendly, talented, interesting people out there. SockPals now has an amazing 250 Likers!!!

The rest of our precious time this week has been used up making labels and price tags and getting my Pals ready for a very busy craft fair season...

17th Nov - Fidra Christmas Fair at North Berwick High School
20th Nov - Hubble Bubble Craft Fair at The Mining Museum in Newtongrange
26th Nov - St Marys Primary School Christmas Fair, Haddington
4th Dec   - Aberlady Winter Wonderland
4th Dec   - Athelstaneford Christmas Event
4th Dec   - Hubble Bubble Craft fair, Haddington

and there are still a few to be confirmed!

I feel tired just thinking about it :O) but we are all really excited too and can't wait to get started!!!

A Monster Week!!!

We've had a real monster week here at Sock Pals. Here's a little update.

It's been Halloween!!! as if you didn't know that already. Lots of dressing up, telling jokes and guising. GREAT FUN!!!

My two Monster Sock Pals were both found..... well done Bruce and Harry. I hope you take good care of them and you have lots of wonderful adventures together.

My Folksy Friday theme this week is MoNsTeRs. Hope you have had a wee look. My daughter chose them this week. She has got good taste :)

Then to finish my week off I spent some time today at Loretto teaching a class how to make their very own Sock Pal monsters.

Here are some photos of the results. I think they're fabulous, they all worked very hard, what do you think?

Monsters Pals Hiding Places

Here are the two places where my monsters hid today...

Drem Train Station

There were lots of cars in the carpark so hopefully it won't be too long before someone picks it up.

Haddington

...but it was a different story in Haddington as you can see! There was no one around when I dropped the second monster off at the fountain. I will go down and check on him tomorrow...I am sure someone will have picked him up. I will let you know.

Hide and Seek clues...

These clues will help you find the locations of my two monsters but remember that a member of the public could find them too.

The first of my monsters would like to go dooking for apples but I have told it that there won't be any apples in this fountain!!! maybe lots of soggy leaves.....somewhere in the middle of Haddington.

The second of my monsters said it wanted to go on a Halloween adventure so it asked if it could go for a ride on a witches broom....I said it might be a bit scary and suggested that it should maybe try travelling by train instead! It would probably meet more people that way and not feel quite so sick due to the fact its not too keen on heights......maybe Drem?

My two monsters are very excited now and are all packaged up and ready to go!!!

Wish them luck!!!

(My Pals and I have decided to do another Hide and Seek at the end of November it will still be in East Lothian but using different locations. I will post more information nearer the time)

Halloween Hide and Seek

My Monster Pals are excited at the thought of playing hide and seek on Friday. They spent the afternoon at the Midlothian Ski Centre (Hill End) looking out towards East Lothian deciding where they are going to hide.

The Monster Pals

Looking out towards East Lothian ... a bit grey but at least the rain stayed off!!!
